Friday Tour: Húsavík Highlight

Prepare for an exciting adventure to Húsavík, the whale-watching capital of Iceland and the famous setting of Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga! Our trip begins at 9:00 AM, departing from Hotel Natur by bus as we head toward this picturesque coastal town.

• Húsavík Öl Brewery Tour: Experience Icelandic craft brewing at its finest as we tour the local brewery and enjoy a taste of their exceptional beers.
• GeoSea Nature Baths: Relax in a unique geothermal sea bath that combines mineral-rich seawater with the Earth’s natural geothermal heat. Perched along a cliffside overlooking Skjálfandi Bay and the Arctic Circle to the north, this serene spot offers breathtaking views – the perfect vantage point for whale watching while soaking in warm, rejuvenating waters.

To make the day even more special, the gentlemen of Round Table Club No. 4 in Húsavík will be there to meet and greet us, offering insights into how they table in this remarkable town and showcasing the spirit of fellowship.

For lunch, we’ll enjoy a traditional Icelandic meal of homemade meat soup, smoked trout, and freshly baked rye bread, all locally sourced to give you an authentic taste of Iceland.

We’ll return to Akureyri by around 5:00 PM, with hearts full of great memories, new friendships, and a deeper connection to this iconic town.
