Refund and Cancellation policy

Registration Fee

A full refund is available to any participant who cancels their registration before the 1st of September 2024. A 50% refund will be applicable if cancelled before the 1th of October 2024 and zero refund if cancelled after that time. Refund will be calculated by the ISK rate on the day minus any service fees that may occur. Any alterations to an existing booking, including a transfer to another attendee will be allowed for free as long as it’s announced prior to the event starting. No refunds are done by the NEAR team in case of transfers.

Registrations for the RTI NEAR Tablers Meeting 2024 will officially close on the 1st of September 2024. Should there be any late registrations accepted, then NO REFUNDS of these registrations will be considered. Transfer to another attendee will be allowed for free. No refunds are done by the NEAR team in case of transfers.

Shared Accomodation at Hotel Natur

Full refund can be provided before 1st of April 2024 but after that no refund can be given for the shared accommodation. Transfers to another attendee is however allowed at no extra charge. No refunds are however done by the NEAR team in case of transfers.

Day Tours and Pre-Tours

Refund and Cancellation policy will be updated once the pre-tour and day-tours are published

Terms and Conditions

By participating in the event hosted by Round Table 5, klúbbur hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates, from and against all actions, charges, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, and expenses of whatsoever nature and howsoever incurred, including but not limited to legal fees, which may be taken or made against the Company or be incurred or become payable by the Company arising out of your participation in the NEAR Tablers Meeting 2024 in North Iceland and/or in any tours connected to the event.

This indemnification extends to any third party claims, damages, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from your actions, omissions, or participation in the event. You acknowledge and agree that this indemnity obligation will survive the termination of your participation in the event and the expiration or termination of these terms and conditions.

You further agree to cooperate fully in the defense of any such claims and to promptly reimburse the Company for any costs or expenses incurred in connection with the defense of such claims.

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the event. The agreement

Governing Law

These terms and conditions, including the indemnification clause, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland.
